Helping Gandhi Mahavidyalaya
Gandhi Mahavidyalaya is
managed by the Chandran Gramin Vikas Sansthan (CGVS) which is a non-profit society
registered in India. CGVS has obtained FCRA approval from the Home ministry of India
to receive funds from foreign institutions. CGVS and Gandhi Mahavidyalaya are supported
by the Institute for Global Education, Equality of Opportunity, and Prosperity (IGEP)
which is a non-profit 501-(c)-3, tax-exempt charitable organization registered in
Maryland, USA, established specifically for supporting Gandhi Mahavidyalaya to provide
education and training to poor, rural students, especially women.
